OPSSU members are invited to the OPSSU Hybrid Demand Setting Meeting taking place November 30 (full day starting at 9:30am) and December 1 (half day ending 1:00pm), 2024. The agenda will follow.
This is a Hybrid event, being offered in person or virtually.

Childcare
Childcare is available from 8:30am to 5:30pm on Saturday, and 8:30am to 1:30pm on Sunday. Registration required.
Please note that childcare will only be available if we have a minimum of 5 children registered

Virtual
If attending virtually, you will receive two emails by November 28:
- One email will have a Zoom link. This link is for you only and cannot be used by other members, so please do not forward it.
- The other email will be a test ballot from Simply Voting. Please cast your test ballot as soon as possible. If you have already cast your test ballot for the Nov 23 GMM, consider this step complete.

Hotel booking – deadline October 30, 2024 (see below for information)

Sign in at the meeting on both days to ensure you can vote and claim any eligible expenses.
Hotel information
You must live more than 40 km away from the hotel and attend the meeting in-person to be eligible for a hotel room.
Members joining in-person are required to make their own hotel arrangements. All rooms will be billed to OPSSU upon checkout.
Please use this link to book your room by Wednesday, Oct. 30. The hotel will not guarantee availability of rooms if you book late – please adhere to the timelines. OPSSU will only reimburse room expenses at the negotiated rate of $199.
If you need to cancel your reservation it will be your responsibility to do so. Members will assume all costs for late cancellations and no-shows.
The cut–off date for Hotel bookings is Wednesday, October 30.
Room bookings for eligible members are for Friday and Saturday night only (if attending both days of the Demand Setting Meeting). If you require a travel accommodation which requires additional nights stays, you must have prior approval by emailing secretary@opssu.ca before booking your room.
Be sure to ONLY select the exact date(s) Friday, November 29 and/or Saturday, November 30 only when booking your room.
