The OPSSU Global Solidarity Committee is urging members to rally at Union Station at noon on Thursday, May 28.
This is an urgent request from the Greater Toronto Health Coalition, the local affiliate of the Ontario Health Coalition in the GTA.
The future of public health care is at a turning point in Ontario and across Canada. We need to build a mass movement to defend it.
We are urging public health care supporters to make their support visible at this time. A mass rally is planned for Thursday May 28th at 12 noon at Union Station, where public health care supporters from across Ontario will arrive by train. Together, we will then march to Queen’s Park to deliver our message to the Ontario government: stop privatizing our public hospitals!
