About the Film: Nobody’s Free Until We Are All Free
Where Olive Trees Weep follows Palestinian journalist and therapist Ashira Darwish, activist Ahed Tamimi, and Israeli journalist Amira Hass, among others. It also features Dr. Gabor Maté as he offers support and insight into intergenerational trauma among Palestinian women seeking healing. The film presents the painful realities of land confiscation, home demolitions, imprisonment, and the denial of basic rights, yet through it all, we witness the unyielding spirit and resilience of a people rooted in their land and history. This powerful documentary offers a look into the lives, struggles, and resilience of Palestinians living under Israeli occupation. Through deeply personal stories, the film explores themes of trauma, resistance, and the ongoing fight for justice.
We hope you’ll join us for this film screening. Together, let’s deepen our understanding of the struggle for justice in Palestine.
