OPSSU Bargaining team calls for No Board

At 6:58 Friday evening, your Bargaining Team gave notice to the employer that we have requested a No Board Report from the Ministry of Labour. We expect this report to be issued next week, which will start the 17-day clock towards a strike deadline in the first week of December.

This is a position that your team reached with a great deal of difficulty. However, after a full day of negotiations with the assistance of a conciliator, it became painfully obvious that the representatives of an employer that prides itself in the respect and advocacy of its members, holds none of those values for its staff.
